Pirates acquired INF Maikol Escotto, RHPs Miguel Yajure and Roansy Contreras and OF Canaan Smith from the Yankees for RHP Jameson Taillon.
Escotto is an 18-year-old who has only played in the Dominican summer league since turning pro. He’s a lottery ticket for the Pirates.
