Michael Gosling allowed six runs -- four earned -- in three-plus innings against the Rockies tonight.
Gosling was removed after he mishandled a bunt and threw the ball away in the fourth. In reality, it was probably Troy Glaus’ error. Not only should Glaus have called Gosling off and made the play himself, but he ended up getting in Gosling’s way while the pitcher was throwing, which probably had a lot to do with the misfire. Gosling is 0-3 with a 4.45 ERA.
