After missing last season following left knee surgery Scott Sizemore came back to be the A’s starting second baseman, but now he’s back on the disabled list with more knee problems.

Sizemore sprained his left knee unsuccessfully chasing after a pop up Tuesday night and limped off the field.

Oakland called up utility man Andy Parrino from Triple-A to take Sizemore’s spot on the roster, but Eric Sogard is expected to see most of the action at second base.
