Brandon Belt was hit in the head by a thrown ball last Saturday and is on the disabled list with a concussion. Six days later and he’s not feeling any better. From the Chronicle:
Brandon Belt said he feels no improvement in his concussion symptoms and boarded the team flight unaware of any specific plans to see a specialist in San Francisco, although that is expected to happen.
That’s certainly not encouraging. Nor is the fact that, as Hank Schulman reports, Joe Panik, Marco Scutaro and Ehire Adrianza all are banged up too.
The Giants are a game and a half up on the Dodgers. But the mounting injuries bode ill.
