It’s the issue that just won’t go away.
The Red Sox and Cubs have until Tuesday to work out compensation for Theo Epstein. If they can’t reach a satisfactory agreement by then, commissioner Bud Selig confirmed to the Associated Press yesterday that he will act as arbitrator.
Here’s Selig, who sounds just as tired of the situation as the rest of us:
