Giants 1B/OF Michael Morse has been placed on the seven-day concussion disabled list, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Utilityman Kelby Tomlinson has been called up from Triple-A Sacramento.

Morse suffered the injury attempting to join the brawl between his team and the Nationals on Monday, but he was accidentally hit by teammate Jeff Samardzija. One can see it around 10 seconds into this video:

In the end, Strickland throwing at Harper did end up hurting his team. That being said, Morse was hitting an uninspiring .194/.250/.306 in 40 plate appearances.
