MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart reports that the Astros have traded starter Scott Feldman to the Blue Jays.

Feldman, 33, has made five starts and 21 relief appearances for the Astros, compiling a 2.90 ERA and a 42/13 K/BB ratio in 62 innings. He’ll add some length to the bullpen as well as some starting rotation insurance.

Feldman is earning the remainder of his $8 million salary for this season and can become a free agent after the season.

The Astros’ return isn’t known, but we’ll make an update here when it is.
