David Ortiz became the 27th player in MLB history to join the 500-home run club on September 12. After finishing a nine-game road trip, the Red Sox celebrated the accomplishment in a pre-game ceremony tonight at Fenway Park.

Ortiz was presented with a number of gifts, including a luxury SUV which was driven in from the outfield. Inside the vehicle were some of his old buddies, including Pedro Martinez, Jason Varitek, and Tim Wakefield.
