Devil Rays signed RHP Rob Stanifer to a minor league contract.
Stanifer, 31, last appeared in the majors in 2000. He had a 3.96 ERA between the Triple-A clubs of the Cubs and Astros last season. Stanifer is only a candidate for a spot on Triple-A Durham’s roster.
