Giants acquired OF Rodolfo Nolasco from the Pirates for RHP Daulton Jefferies.
Nolasco, 22, has never appeared in a minor league game above High-A ball. In 21 games at High-A Greensboro this season, he’s slashing a woeful .173/.264/.293 with a pair of homers, 12 RBI and a 10/1 K/BB ratio over 87 plate appearances. He’s a long way away from helping out the Giants at the major league level.
