Braves acquired RHP Scott Sturkie from the Indians to complete the Russell Branyan trade.
Sturkie, 24, was a 12th-round pick in 2001. He’s posted fine numbers as a minor league reliever, including a 1.78 ERA in 25 1/3 IP for Double-A Akron this year, but he’s not much of a prospect.
