Steve Torrealba suffered strained ligaments near his right elbow earlier in camp and has been limited to pinch-running duties in games and receiving in the bullpen.
Torrealba, expected to be one of Memphis’ catchers this year, could be allowed to resume throwing before the end of camp, but he might not be ready for the start of the Triple-A season.
