    Rangers released RHP Taylor Jungmann.
Texas signed Jungmann to a minor league contract in mid-February after he pitched to a 3.33 ERA over 116 1/3 innings (25 appearances) with Japan’s Yomiuri Giants in 2019. The 30-year-old right-hander will presumably try to latch on with a new MLB organization at some point, though he could also head back to Asia.

Rangers signed RHP Taylor Jungmann to a minor league contract.
Jungmann, formerly of the Brewers, is back in the states after a stint in Japan. The 30-year-old thrived in his first season with the Yomiuri Giants before struggling last year. He’s slated to report to minor league camp.

Brewers general manager Gord Ash said Friday that prospect Taylor Jungmann, who is currently on the minor league disabled list, is dealing with a nerve issue affecting the fingers on his right hand.
Jungmann, the 12th overall pick in 2011, had been off to a brutal start to his 2013 campaign at Double-A Huntsville, posting a 7.89 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 16/14 K/BB ratio over 21 2/3 innings. The injury provides some context for his early struggles. The organization hopes that being proactive in prescribing rest and treatment will alleviate the symptoms before the issue becomes more serious.

The Brewers have reassigned RHP Taylor Jungmann to Double-A Biloxi.
Jungmann enjoyed a productive rookie season in 2015 (9-8, 3.77 ERA in 21 starts) but was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs after losing four of his first five starts with a hideous 9.15 ERA. He fared even worse in Colorado Springs (1-3, 9.87 ERA in eight starts), prompting the Brewers to give him a three-week break at the team’s spring training facility in Arizona. “We try to evaluate each situation uniquely and we decided that in this case, it was best for Taylor to head to Biloxi,” said GM David Stearns. “Colorado Springs was not a conducive environment to get him back on track, and we believe Biloxi is a better fit right now.” Jungmann will make his first start for Biloxi Thursday against Birmingham.

Taylor Jungmann is scheduled to start against the Reds on Saturday.
Jungmann last made a start with the Brewers at the end of April. In 22 2/3 innings with the big league club this season, he holds an 8.34 ERA. While he has not allowed a run in his two bullpen appearances since being called up earlier this month, there is no fantasy upside here.

Taylor Jungmann will not make his final scheduled start this weekend against the Rockies due to a hip injury.
Jungmann suffered the injury in his most recent start. He’ll finish the year with a 7.76 ERA over six starts and two relief appearances. Brent Suter will start on Friday while Wily Peralta will get the nod on Saturday.

Brewers recalled RHP Taylor Jungmann from Double-A Biloxi.
Jungmann allowed 22 runs -- 21 earned -- in 20 2/3 innings earlier this season out of the Brewers’ bullpen. The right-hander will presumably work as a mop-up man.

Brewers optioned RHP Taylor Jungmann to Double-A Biloxi.
The Brewers were stashing eight relievers in their pen and needed to clear a roster spot for Nick Franklin, who was claimed off waivers from Tampa Bay. Jungmann struggled in his season debut Wednesday against Colorado, yielding one runs, one walk and two hits in just 2/3 of an inning. The Brewers plan to stretch him out as a starter in the minor leagues.

Brewers recalled RHP Taylor Jungmann from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
A first-round pick from 2011, Jungmann will be making his major league debut when he starts Tuesday against the Pirates. Pitching in the Pacific Coast League isn’t easy, but the 25-year-old posted a 6.37 ERA and 54/29 K/BB ratio in 59 1/3 innings over eight starts and two relief appearances this season in Triple-A. He’s not an option in mixed fantasy leagues.

Taylor Jungmann stifled the Pirates’ offense over seven innings Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits to earn a 4-1 win in his major league debut.
The right-hander earned his first career victory in style, allowing just three hits and a walk in seven innings of work. The only run came on a Starling Marte solo homer early in the contest. Jungmann is a former first-round pick, so the pedigree is there, but he owned just a 6.37 ERA over 59 1/3 innings at Triple-A prior to his promotion. He’ll have a tougher test Sunday against the Nationals.
