MLB suspended RHP Timothy Haines for 50 games for testing positive for a performance enhancing substance in violation of the drug policy.
Haines was a 2006 27th-round pick out of the University of Texas-Pan American. He was pitching for SS Single-A Brooklyn and had a 3.09 ERA in 10 relief appearances.
