Major League Baseball recently put a freeze on all roster moves, but there were a number of minor league signings that took place at the end of March and are now coming to light. Espinal, 27, registered a 5.80 ERA in 49 2/3 innings of relief last year between the Double-A and Triple-A affiliates of the Rangers.

Espinal, 26, held a 2.25 ERA and 79/32 K/BB ratio across 64 relief innings between High- and Double-A in 2018. He should have a shot to debut at some point in 2019.
