He’s back with the team after the Mavs waived him following the preseason. Ashley has shown he can hit jumpers at times, but his 3-point shooting hasn’t been consistent enough to be considered an asset yet.

Ashley put up averages of 12.2 points and 5.2 boards at Arizona last season, and he also hit a respectable 33.3 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. We will watch him closely during the preseason, but he likely won’t be in the rotation next season if Dallas ends up keeping him.

None of them were expected to make the final roster, and they will most likely end up in the D-League.
