The Raptors have invited little known combo guard Corey Williams to camp. His nickname is ‘Homocide’ ''because I destroy everything in front of me’’, he said recently.
He played in China last year and helped Penn Valley Community College win a national title in 1998. Since then he played a year at Alabama State and has bounced around the world playing ball. Raptors scouts saw him play at Rucker Park this summer and are thinking he can actually make the team. He’s scheduled to head back to China and play for the Henan RenHe Dragons if it doesn’t work out in Toronto.
