All three earned high marks from the coaching staff for their effort and talent. Another possibility could be 36-year-old forward Michael Curry. The team does not expect to have any new additions in place by tonight’s tip-off.

Along with Hodge, who thinks he can also contribute at point guard, are Desmon Farmer (the D-League’s No. 2 scorer), veteran Dermarr Johnson and Brian Hamilton, a top D-League defender.

He should only be considered in the deepest of leagues, but someone is going to have to play for the injury-depleted Spurs. Just keep your eye on him.

He needed assistance and this is terrible news for Parker’s owners, although X-rays were negative. Roger Mason started, and should have even more value than he already did with Parker now shelved. If you have someone to cut, we’d recommend picking up Mason immediately. Desmon Farmer and George Hill will also see more minutes while Parker recovers.

No fantasy value here and he’ll likely not be around once Manu Ginobili gets healthy.

The Spurs released Farmer to make space for newly-acquired guard Blake Ahearn.

His contract would have become guaranteed on Jan. 10, and he wasn’t getting enough minutes to keep around.
