Jordan Nwora scored 30 points on 11-of-21 shooting (6-of-10 3-pointers) with eight rebounds, two assists, and three turnovers as the Bucks fell to the Nets 119-115 in preseason action on Friday night.
Nwora has proven that he can fill it up when he is given the opportunity to be a primary scorer. The problem is when he is on the court with the Bucks’ main core of players, that is simply not his role, and he struggles to impact the game in other ways than with his scoring. Sandro Mamukelashvili also started and scored 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting with 11 rebounds. Elijah Bryant came off the bench and added 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting with eight rebounds.

  • MIL Shooting Guard #6
The Milwaukee Bucks have waived Elijah Bryant on Thursday evening.
He was a Buck for just a few months and averaged 1.3 points per game in 11 games in the playoffs (4.5 minutes per contest). This move won’t affect the Bucks much and he wouldn’t have been a fantasy asset even if he remained on the team.

  • MIL Shooting Guard #6
The Bucks are planning to sign former BYU standout, Elijah Bryant.
The Bucks will waive Rodions Kurucs to make room for the 6-4 guard. Bryant most recently played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, averaging 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.1 triples. He’s not a lock to see minutes in the playoffs.
