Erick Green will play with the Trail Blazers at Vegas Summer League.
Green last played with the Jazz on a 10-day contract back in February of 2016 before finishing the season in the D-League. While he could hook on with an NBA team for the 2016-17 season, he’s not on the fantasy radar.

Erick Green has signed a two-year deal with the Olympiacos of Greece.
Green signed a few 10-day deals last season that never resulted in a guaranteed contract, so he’ll now take the guaranteed money in Europe over playing for a D-League team.
  • Point Guard #11
Erick Green will sign with the Nuggets.
He was outstanding in Vegas with an effective field goal percentage of 55.1, averaging 16.6 points, 3.0 boards, 2.6 dimes, 1.2 steals and 1.4 triples. Green and backcourt mate Gary Harris complemented each other very well in Vegas, but both will have a tough time getting significant minutes. Green is likely going to be up and down in the D-League this season, but he has a chance to be the No. 3 point guard on the depth chart.

Erick Green’s deal with the Denver Nuggets will be for three years, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Green played overseas last season and had a stellar Vegas Summer League for the Nuggets where he averaged 16.6 points, 3.0 boards, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals. Despite his Summer League success, it will be tough for Green to crack the back court rotation in Denver next season.

The Nuggets are expected to keep Erick Green for training camp.
His contract becomes partially guaranteed on Saturday. Green will compete with newly-added Nick Johnson for the No. 3 point guard spot. He won’t be in the rotation while the Nuggets are healthy.

Erick Green was pressed into action on Saturday vs. the Clippers due to injuries to Ty Lawson (forearm) and Jameer Nelson (hip), and he ended up scoring 11 points with three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
Green shot 4-of-7 from the field and didn’t turn the ball over once, and he looked very poised running the Denver offense. It isn’t clear if Lawson or Nelson will miss any additional time, but Green will certainly be worth a look in deeper leagues if they aren’t cleared to play in Wednesday’s game vs. the Lakers.
  • Point Guard #11
Erick Green played on Sunday despite his recent arm injury, coming off the bench for two points on 1-of-4 shooting in nine minutes vs. the Kings.
He added one rebound tonight but didn’t have any assists or steals. Denver’s rookie avoided what looked like a serious injury, which is great news, but he remains a non-entity in standard fantasy leagues while Ty Lawson is healthy and starting.

Erick Green suffered an arm injury on Friday night and went to the locker room.
It looked pretty bad and it’s almost certainly muscle related. Green was in pain right away and went to the locker room just seconds after talking to the training staff. If he’s out, Randy Foye and Gary Harris would get more minutes.
  • Power Forward #00
Darrell Arthur (leg) will not play in Thursday’s preseason game vs. the Bulls.
Erik Green (rest), Wilson Chandler (rest) and Jusuf Nurkic (knee) will join Arthur on the sidelines for Thursday’s exhibition. The earlier the preseason, the more likely we are to see guys on the sidelines resting, so we wouldn’t read much into any of this. Arthur and Green aren’t worth drafting in almost any league, while Chandler and Nurkic make for nice late-round targets.
  • Shooting Guard #24
    Nuggets waive G Nick Johnson.
The Arizona guard had some nice bright spots in Summer League and was brought over to the Nuggets in the Ty Lawson deal. Erick Green made the team. Some team will probably add Johnson.
