Lang, a 2003 second-round pick, spent his entire Hornets career on the injured list.

Lang has yet to see game action with the Hawks, but coach Mike Woodson said there’s a chance he could be needed in the coming days, with games against New York and Utah coming up.

They needed more big men, so he could get a chance for some minutes with the Hawks, but that probably doesn’t equate to fantasy value.

He’ll replace the void left by the departure of Antonio Davis.

Lang, a 6-foot-10, 285-pound center who was brought in to add depth to the Hawks’ thin frontcourt rotation, never played during his 20 days with the Hawks.

Lang was signed to a 10-day contact on March 27. He dressed for one game, March 29 against Miami, but did not play. In 32 games this season with the Arkansas Rimrockers of the NBA Development League, averaging 8.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 16.5 minutes.

He’ll have no fantasy value, but finally saw some game-time action after bouncing around the league since 2003.
