James Webb III signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany.
It’s a one-year deal for the 25-year-old forward. Webb III impressed in the G-League last season and earned a shot with the Nets, but only averaged 12.0 minutes in 10 appearances.

The 76ers have signed James Webb III to a two-year partially-guaranteed deal.
The last thing the 76ers need is more depth at the forward positions, so Webb III may have a difficult time making the final roster unless Philly makes some trades. The Boise State forward averaged 15.8 points and 9.1 rebounds during his sophomore campaign.
  • FA Power Forward #2
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Caris LeVert (knee, concussion) have been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Clippers.
It’s unlikely we’ll see either of these guys until after the All-Star break. Jahlil Okafor, James Webb and Joe Harris will continue to log extended minutes with these RHJ and LeVert watching from the sidelines.

The Nets will sign forward James Webb III to a two-way contract.
In 21 G-League games, Webb posted averages of 11.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.0 steals. The Nets have five centers, but don’t have great depth at forward behind Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and DeMarre Carroll. For now, Webb is safe to ignore in fantasy leagues.
