Jerrell Benimon has signed with the Foshan Lions of China.
Benimon had previously signed a camp deal with the Cavaliers, but will now head overseas to play in the Chinese Basketball Association. He would have face an uphill battle to make the Cavs final roster, so this news shouldn’t affect any fantasy draft boards.
  • Power Forward #22
The Cavaliers have signed forward Jerrell Benimon to a training camp deal.
Benimon averaged 19.8 points, 11 rebounds and 4.4 assists in the D-League last season, but he doesn’t have a realistic shot at making the final roster in Cleveland. It’s safe to ignore him in fantasy leagues.
  • Power Forward #22
The Jazz are expected to sign F Jerrell Benimon to a 10-day contract in the coming days.
Benimon currently plays for the Idaho Stampede in the NBA D-League where he is averaging 19.9 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, but he likely wouldn’t be in the rotation upon his arrival in Utah. We will let you know if a deal comes to fruition, but it is safe to leave Benimon on the wire in almost all leagues.
  • Power Forward #22
The Jazz have signed F Jerrell Benimon to a 10-day contract.
Benimon is an All-Star in the D-League, but he’s unlikely to do much with the Jazz. It’s safe to leave him on the wire in most leagues.
  • Power Forward #22
The Nuggets will sign Jerrell Benimon to a partially-guaranteed two-year deal.
He’ll head to training camp and have to battle to get on the 15-man roster. He’s a 6'8" forward and had some range at Towson last year and also ranked second at Las Vegas Summer League in rebounds per game. The Nuggets are much healthier than they were at the conclusion of the 2013-14 season, so Benimon will have his hands full.
  • Power Forward #22
    Nuggets waive F Jerrell Benimon.
The 6'8" forward went undrafted out of Towson this summer, despite averaging 19.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 blocks as a senior. He’s likely to spend the 2014-15 season either overseas or in the D-League, putting him outside of the fantasy framework.
