Julius Randle is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Bulls with left foot soreness.
Randle, Naz Reid, and Donte DiVincenzo are the only players to play in all 44 games this season, so the expectation is that Randle will do what he can to get onto the court. Randle was also present at shootaround earlier on Thursday, so the injury is likely not severe. If he doesn’t play, Reid would likely slide into the starting lineup with Joan Beringer entering the rotation.

Naz Reid (shoulder) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Jazz.
Reid, who started for Rudy Gobert, left Saturday’s loss to the Spurs during the first half with a sore left shoulder. Gobert’s off the injury report, so he’ll be back in the starting lineup. If Reid can’t play against the Jazz, rookie Joan Beringer may enter the rotation.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert (hip) is not on the injury report against the Jazz on Tuesday.
Gobert missed Saturday’s game, but he’ll return to take on his former team. Naz Reid will head back to the bench, though he is questionable with a shoulder issue. His status will determine if Joan Beringer is part of the rotation or not.
  • MIN Forward #19
Joan Beringer accounted for 10 points (5-of-6 FGs), eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks in Saturday’s loss to the Spurs.
With Rudy Gobert (hip) out, Beringer was going to play rotation minutes on Saturday. Then the Timberwolves lost Naz Reid to a shoulder injury during the first quarter. While the Timberwolves went small at times, there were also more minutes available to the rookie from France. Beringer finished with a nice stat line, grabbing a season-high eight boards while scoring in double figures for the second time. While his value in redraft leagues will be limited due to the players ahead of him in the rotation, Beringer is an intriguing piece for dynasty league managers.
  • MIN Center-Forward #11
Naz Reid (shoulder) will not return to Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Reid, who was starting for the injured Rudy Gobert, left Saturday’s game during the first quarter with a sore left shoulder. He only played five minutes before being ruled out at the start of the third quarter. Rookie Joan Beringer started the third in Reid’s place, and he’s going to get valuable in-game experience facing Victor Wembanyama.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert (hip) is out for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Gobert will sit out Saturday’s game, which is the second in as many nights for the Timberwolves. Naz Reid is the likely replacement in the starting lineup, but there will also be more minutes available to rookie Joan Beringer.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert (hip) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Saturday.
Gobert could end up sidelined on the second night of a back-to-back. Naz Reid would likely fill his spot in the starting lineup after scoring 25 points on Friday. Joan Beringer would also see a bump in minutes down low off the bench.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert was ejected from Monday’s game against the Suns with 7:59 remaining in the third quarter.
Gobert was issued a Flagrant 2 foul and ejected for his hard foul on Mark Williams as the Suns’ center attempted a dunk. Gobert played 21 minutes, finishing with 15 points (7-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal. Naz Reid replaced Gobert and should log heavy minutes the rest of the way, with a little Joan Beringer sprinkled in.
  • MIN Forward #19
Joan Beringer amassed 10 points (5-of-8 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in Monday’s exhibition against Guangzhou.
With the Timberwolves resting their regulars, including Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid, Beringer was in the starting lineup Monday night. The first-round pick out of France dropped a double-double on efficient shooting while blocking two shots. With Gobert and Reid in the fold, Beringer is unlikely to impact redraft leagues this season. However, the 18-year-old is a prospect who should be rostered in dynasty leagues.
  • MIN Center #19
Joan Beringer made his preseason debut on Saturday and finished with 14 points (6-of-8 FGs), four rebounds and one block against the Nuggets.
The rookie was one of the stars of summer league because of his defense, but he was able to make an offensive impact in his preseason debut. The rookie will play behind Rudy Gobert this year, but his long-term upside makes him worth hanging onto in dynasty formats.
