Former Raptors big man Joey Dorsey has re-signed with Olympiacos in Greece.
Dorsey bounced around a few NBA teams after being drafted in the second round in 2008, and he seems to be carving out a productive career in Europe. In 17 games in the Greek league last year, he averaged 6.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks in just 17 minutes per game. No word on whether his Greek deal has an out clause, but he doesn’t seem to be drawing much interest in the NBA.

Joey Dorsey, who re-signed with Olympiacos in August, will part ways with the team.
Dorsey reportedly has an offer from an NBA team, and it sounds like he wants to pursue that opportunity. The big man was a second-round pick in 2008 and could be a useful energy big in the league on the right roster.

Joey Dorsey has signed a one-year contract with Caja Laboral in Spain.
Dorsey was not extended a qualifying offer by Toronto which made him an unrestricted free agent. His deal in Spain will not include an out clause to return to the NBA this season.

The Nuggets have reportedly agreed to a trade that will send Ty Lawson to the Rockets.
The Rockets will send over a 2016 protected first-round pick to Denver in addition to Kostas Papanikolaou, Pablo Prigioni, Joey Dorsey and Nick Johnson in exchange for Lawson and a 2017 protected second-round selection. Emmanuel Mudiay will now be the starting point guard in Denver, so his value gets a major boost with this news. Patrick Beverley, on the other hand, will likely come off the bench in Houston, so his value takes a pretty big hit with the arrival of Lawson. The Rockets are getting Lawson at a ridiculous discount, and it’ll be interesting to see how James Harden and Lawson can co-exist. He won’t have the ball in his hands quite as much playing alongside Dwight Howard and Harden, so his fantasy value will take a bit of a hit in Houston.

Joey Dorsey was traded to the Nuggets as part of the Ty Lawson deal.
Dorsey is joining a very crowded frontcourt in Denver, so he’ll have his fair share of DNP-CD’s as a member of the Nuggets. There’s no fantasy value to be had here.

Dwight Howard (knee) has been upgraded to doubtful for Monday’s game vs. the Pacers.
This is definitely exciting news, and even though it is unlikely he will return on Monday, his chances of playing Wednesday vs. the Pelicans are looking better. Howard should not be sitting on many waiver wires following this news, but his owners will have to be patient with him. Howard is expected to be on a minutes limit of around 20-25 minutes per game upon his return and he won’t play in back-to-back sets, so his upside obviously isn’t great. That being said, the uncertainty surrounding Terrence Jones should only help Howard’s case for a bigger role, and his return could have negative implications on the value of Donatas Motiejunas, Josh Smith, Terrence Jones and Joey Dorsey. We will update Howard’s status as soon as we know more.

Houston Rockets sign F/C Joey Dorsey.
Dorsey’s agreed to a two-year, $2 million deal with the Rockets on Tuesday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The 30-year-old was a second-round pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and last played an FC Barcelona that went to the Euroleague Final Four. Dorsey will see some minutes backing up Dwight Howard, but he shouldn’t be on any fantasy radars right now.

Joey Dorsey has signed a deal with Galatasaray of Turkey.
Though it’s unclear if he has an NBA out-clause, Dorsey’s deal with Galatasaray is reportedly worth about $650 thousand. This signing may signal the end of the 31-year-old’s NBA days, but he doesn’t have any fantasy value even if he’s able to work out a return at some point.

Joey Dorsey has been officially waived by the Nuggets.
Dorsey will be playing professional basketball in Turkey next season, unless another team claims him off waivers (which is an unlikely scenario), and this may be the end of his NBA career. The 31-year-old owns career averages of 2.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Dwight Howard (knee) will be in the starting lineup on Wednesday vs. the Pelicans according to head coach Kevin McHale, but he will be on a minutes limit.
Howard won’t see any more than 16 minutes tonight, but after spending the past two months in street clothes, his owners will just be glad to have him back. His owners will probably want to keep Howard on the bench until he gets his legs under him, but he should be able to provide plenty of points, boards and blocks in the near future. Joey Dorsey will return to the bench and shouldn’t have been owned in most leagues anyway. We will let you know how Superman’s knee holds up after the game.
