Jonas Jerebko told a website in his native Sweden that coming off the bench is “not something I’m used to or that I will get used to, either.”
Jerebko’s frustration with his role has been well known for quite some time, but it seems to be bubbling over now. Jerebko’s father told the same Swedish media outlet that he hopes Lawrence Frank is no longer the Pistons’ coach next season. We’re not sure how this will end, but we’re very certain Jerebko has no fantasy value in any format.

Jonas Jerebko has officially signed with the Russian team Khimki Moscow.
Jerebko, who is Swedish, wrote about his decision to leave the NBA for Europe. “I’m looking forward to playing in the top level in Europe after 10 years in the NBA,” he said. “Playing against the best teams in the EuroLeague was obviously on my bucket list.” The 32-year-old forward has played for the Pistons, Warriors, Celtics and Jazz, but this likely signals the end of his NBA experience.
  • GSW Power Forward #21
Jonas Jerebko is reportedly nearing a contract agreement with a Russian team.
Jerebko is a solid floor spacer who had a few nice moments in Golden State this past season, but he’ll have a more pronounced role and likely make more money overseas.
  • GSW Small Forward #9
Andre Iguodala (sore left calf) has been ruled out for Game 4 on Monday in Portland.
With both Kevin Durant (calf) and Iguodala on the sidelines tonight, we’d expect to see more Quinn Cook, Jonas Jerebko and Alfonzo McKinnie, while Draymond Green will be forced into heavy minutes. If Golden State can close out this series tonight, they’ll have a full nine days off to rest up for the Finals.
  • IND Center #20
Steve Kerr said he’d like to expand his rotation for the Warriors’ Western Conference Finals matchup with the Trail Blazers.
“This series feels like it’s a series where we can play more people,” Kerr said. “It’s a different matchup and I think that what you saw [in Game 1] is what we’d like to get to every night if we can in terms of playing 10, 11 guys.” Jordan Bell, who has been used sparingly throughout the postseason thus far, saw 11 minutes off the bench on Tuesday and it sounds like that could be a trend. Expect to see more Bell, Quinn Cook and Jonas Jerebko this series.
  • HOU Small Forward #35
Kevin Durant (strained right calf) will not play in Games 6 or 7, as expected.
An MRI confirmed the initial diagnosis of a ‘mild’ calf strain, and he will stay in the Bay Area before being re-evaluated next week. Given that timetable it’s a given that he’ll also miss a potential Game 7 vs. Houston on Sunday. Jonas Jerebko filled in for KD late in Game 5 and should again play a big role without the superstar, while Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston will be more important than ever. The silver lining is that Durant didn’t suffer a dreaded Achilles injury.
  • HOU Small Forward #35
Kevin Durant (flu) and Klay Thompson (knee) are questionable to play in Wednesday’s regular-season finale against the Grizzlies.
Both KD and Klay skipped Tuesday’s easy win over the Pelicans, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see both of them sit out Wednesday’s meaningless game with all the Memphis’ stars unavailable. Jacob Evans, Damion Lee, Alfonzo McKinnie and Jonas Jerebko could see quality minutes tonight.
  • GSW Power Forward #23
Draymond Green (knee), DeMarcus Cousins (rest) and Stephen Curry (foot) will not suit up for Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Kevin Durant (illness) and Klay Thompson (knee) are also being listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup against the 32-49 Grizzlies, so the Warriors may be without their entire starting lineup tonight. With Boogie and Green on the sidelines, Andrew Bogut should get another start and it’ll either be Jonas Jerebko or Alfonzo McKinnie starting at the four-spot. Stay tuned.
  • GSW Power Forward #21
Jonas Jerebko scored 18 points with four rebounds and three triples in 18 minutes vs. the Wolves on Tuesday.
He had 14 of his points in the second quarter, so credit to Jerebko for staying ready. He’s been outside of the rotation lately, but maybe coach Steve Kerr will start looking his way more often. However, with DeMarcus Cousins (foot) due back on Thursday, there’s not much fantasy value to be had here even though the Warriors play three more times this week. If he does impress again on Thursday, he might have some appeal for the Saturday-Sunday back-to-back since some Warriors might rest.
  • GSW Power Forward #21
Jonas Jerebko played 21 minutes off the bench against the Magic, scoring four points with four rebounds and one block.
He saw minutes at the three and four with Andre Iguodala and Kevin Durant sitting out today. Jerebko also saw minutes down the stretch, but his minutes are likely going to drop with Iggy and KD set to return on Saturday against the 76ers.
