Jusuf Nurkić finished Sunday’s loss to Poland with 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 5-of-10 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer.
Nurkić ended his run at the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket with another solid performance, leading Bosnia and Herzegovina in scoring and rebounding. Unfortunately for him, it was not enough to hold off Poland, which was led by former Raptors guard Jordan Loyd (28 points). In five games, Nurkić averaged 17.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers. Having been dealt to the Jazz this offseason, the veteran center should slot in behind Walker Kessler on the depth chart. And with Utah continuing its rebuild, that is not a great spot to be in concerning fantasy value.

Luka Dončić tallied 34 points (7-of-14 FGs, 17-of-18 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, five steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s EuroBasket loss to Poland.
Having injured his right knee during a pre-tournament friendly against Latvia, Dončić playing 36 of a possible 40 minutes on Thursday was a positive for him and the Slovenians. However, his gaudy stat line was not enough to get the win, as former Toronto Raptor Jordan Loyd went off for 32 points to lead Poland to a 105-95 victory. Even if most of his teammates struggled, Dončić looked sharp against Poland, cutting a slimmer figure than last season. The question for him heading into his first full season with the Lakers is whether the new physique will carry over, and if that will positively impact his durability. Dončić has played 70 games or more in two of his first seven seasons.

The Raptors waived G Jordan Loyd.
He was excellent in the G League as he earned all-league honors, so perhaps Loyd is getting a big overseas offer. Loyd also had some highlights recently in Vegas with a 27-point game, but perhaps the Raptors are OK with Cameron Payne as their No. 3 PG heading into camp.
  • Point Guard #8
Jordan Loyd dropped 27 points on Monday vs. the Spurs in Vegas, hitting 8-of-24 shots and 6-of-6 free throws.
Loyd added seven dimes, two rebounds, six steals and three triples in 31 minutes, nearly helping the Raptors overcome a huge deficit. Loyd was with the Raptors on a two-way contract last season and is basically auditioning to be the third-string PG behind Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet with Jeremy Lin out of the picture. The 25-year-old PG was dominant in the G League last season, scoring 22.5 points per game with 6.1 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 2.2 triples.

Jordan Loyd is set to sign a two-way contract with the Raptors.
Loyd played for the Raptors’ Summer League squad for the second year in a row this summer, and this time his time with the club will result in him earning a two-way deal. That means he’ll spend a majority of the season in the G-League, so there’s no reason to pay him any attention in fantasy hoops.

Jordan Loyd has reached a buyout agreement with Turkish club Darussafaka, clearing the way for him to sign a two-way contract with Toronto.
It was reported last month that Loyd, who played for Toronto’s summer league squad, would ink a two-way deal with the Raps once he was free to do so. However, Loyd is expected to spend most of next season in the G-League. He can be ignored in all fantasy formats.

The Raptors announced have signed G Jordan Loyd to a two-way contract.
Loyd spent last season in Isreal, averaging 17.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists for Hapoel Eilat. He is expected to spend most of the 2018-19 season in the G-League.
