Naz Reid finished Monday’s loss to Memphis with eight points (3-of-13 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), ten rebounds, two assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 21 minutes played.
Reid, who signed a two-way contract with Minnesota on July 5, didn’t have his best night as the Timberwolves fell to the Grizzlies in the Las Vegas Summer League title game. He’s a player who still has some strides to make from a skill standpoint, and a lot of that work is likely to come in the G-League next season. One player who did perform well inside for Minnesota on Monday was Jordan Murphy, who tallied 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one three-pointer off the bench.
