According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld, the Indiana Pacers have free agent David West at the top of their free agent wishlist.
This echoes a similar sentiment from Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski from months ago, when he identified both West and Carl Landry as potential fits for the Pacers. Josh McRoberts is an unrestricted free agent, and the Pacers likely aren’t sold on a full-time role for Tyler Hansbrough. West’s addition would give the team a serious force in the pick and roll game, and his addition would really benefit both Danny Granger and Darren Collison.

Andrew Bynum (ankle) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday against the Clippers.
The Lakers are not holding a shootaround prior to Wednesday’s game and that’s likely because the team just played against the Nets on Tuesday. Bynum previously said that he would try to play, but owners will have to check back for another update to see whether or not Bynum will be in the starting lineup. Josh McRoberts would likely get another start if Bynum is unable to play.
  • DAL Power Forward #13
Josh McRoberts started in place of injured Andrew Bynum and had just four points and five rebounds despite playing 27 minutes on Tuesday.
Bynum is iffy for Wednesday, but surely you can find a better player on waivers than McBob.

Andrew Bynum (ankle) said that he’ll try to play on Wednesday against the Clippers.
“I feel good, but I don’t know. I’m going to try,” Bynum said. Owners will have to check back for an update following shootaround to see if the big man will be able to give it a go against the Clippers. If he’s unable to start, Josh McRoberts would likely slide into the starting lineup once again. McBob had four points and five rebounds in Tuesday’s win over the Nets.
  • DAL Small Forward #30
Devin Ebanks (finger) started alongside Ramon Sessions, Steve Blake, Josh McRoberts, and Jordan Hill in Thursday’s game against the Kings.
Ebanks is worth deep league consideration and that’s about it. Sessions’ inclusion is the most interesting, as it indicates that his shoulder injury may be on the mend. He’ll be a decent fantasy start that carries a bunch of risk. Blake could log big minutes and put up low-end numbers, while Hill is the better of the two big man plays and deserves standard league consideration. McBob is a versatile producer when given the minutes, but he’ll be a flier play for deeper formats.
  • MIN Center #27
Jordan Hill (sprained MCL) was available to play on Wednesday but he did not play.
Hill returned from a sprained MCL, so we’re taking him off of the injury list. However, with Troy Murphy and Josh McRoberts both ahead of him in the rotation, Hill will have to wait for an opportunity to get onto the floor.
  • MIN Center #27
Mike Brown plans on playing Jordan Hill more frequently following his double-double in Sunday’s double-overtime win against the Thunder.
Well, duh. The Lakers have been looking for a third big off the bench all season, and neither Josh McRoberts or Troy Murphy have been able to deliver with any sort of cosnistency. “Jordan is going to play,” said Brown. Hill had 15 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in 35 minutes and is a good bet to see 20-25 minutes moving forward.
  • IND Center #17
X-rays were negative on Andrew Bynum’s left ankle, but he has been diagnosed with a “moderate” sprain and will be re-evaluated on Monday.
The Lakers’ next game is on Tuesday, so we’re forced to consider Bynum very questionable for that game -- if he can’t suit up, Josh McRoberts and Troy Murphy will likely play heavy minutes alongside Pau Gasol. The timing of this injury could hardly be worse, but don’t do anything rash until we hear an update on Monday afternoon.
  • WAS Point Guard #9
Ramon Sessions was the lone starter aside from Devin Ebanks (finger) to play in the Lakers’ loss to the Kings on Thursday, scoring 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting with three rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes.
There wasn’t much, if anything to glean out of a game played at a YMCA pace, but the Lakers wanted to get Sessions onto the floor to build his confidence. It sounds like his shoulder injury may not have been as big of a deal as it seemed when his numbers dipped a bit last week, but we’re not expecting a huge rise or fall in his performance level during the playoffs. Steve Blake started and put up four points with six assists, Jordan Hill went for eight and eight with three steals and a block, Josh McRoberts had 16 points, nine boards, and four assists, and Ebanks scored 14 points with five rebounds and a block.

Unrestricted free agent Josh McRoberts told Indianapolis radio host JMV on Thursday that he doesn’t feel like the Pacers want him to return this season.
McBob, an Indy native, had some nice games last season and is sure to be a solid role player for someone this year. However, it doesn’t sound like he’ll be staying home in Indiana for long.
