Delon Wright (non-COVID illness) is not listed on the injury report for Friday’s matchup with the Heat.
Wright missed their last two games with an illness, which allowed Jordan Goodwin to start in his place and Kendrick Nunn to play big minutes off the bench. With Wright back on Friday, he should take back over as the starting point guard and provide plenty of assists and steals. Unfortunately, that will limit Goodwin and Nunn’s fantasy opportunities.

  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford posted a monster double-double on Wednesday with 25 points (8-for-10 FGs, 9-for-9 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in a 134-116 loss to Atlanta.
With the Wizards playing without the majority of their rotation, Gafford stepped up and set a new career-high for points. This was his 10th double-double of the season despite playing just 23 minutes. Gafford was one of seven Wizards to score in double figures, as Johnny Davis put up 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer. Davis is flashing his fantasy potential, but it will be difficult for him to carve out a role. Jay Huff, Quenton Jackson and Kendrick Nunn also scored in double figures off the bench for the second straight game and should be solid options for the rest of the season.

  • FA Guard #3
Delon Wright (non-COVID illness) is listed as out for Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.
The already shorthanded Wizards will go into Wednesday’s game down another member. Washington will have six regular rotation players out which means there should be plenty of shots to go around for guys such as Corey Kispert, Johnny Davis and Kendrick Nunn.

  • Point Guard #12
Kendrick Nunn provided a boost off the bench on Tuesday with 24 points (9-for-17 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and five 3-pointers in a 140-128 loss to the Bucks.
With Washington officially eliminated from the postseason, they were without six key rotation players on Tuesday. That allowed Nunn to have a big night off the bench, as he set new season-highs for points, rebounds and 3-pointers while tying his season-high for assists and steals. Nunn was joined by six other Wizards to score in double figures, including Jay Huff (17) and Quenton Jackson (10), who set career-highs. Johnny Davis also continued to shine with a 20/5/4/2/2 line and two 3-pointers. Jordan Goodwin got the start with Delon Wright out and put up a 14/4/9 line. Everyone played at least 20 minutes in this game, which is encouraging for streaming Wizards over their final three games.

  • FA Guard #3
Monte Morris will remain out Sunday against the Knicks due to right ankle soreness.
Morris’ absence will allow Delon Wright to thrive as a solid source of steals, points and dimes, while Johnny Davis and Kendrick Nunn should see a few extra minutes in the process.

  • FA Guard #3
Monte Morris (right ankle soreness) will not return to Friday’s matchup with the Magic.
Delon Wright will likely take over playmaking duties for the remainder of this game, with Kendrick Nunn, Jordan Goodwin and Johnny Davis all benefitting from Morris’ absence.

  • FA Guard #3
Monte Morris is out for Sunday’s matchup with Toronto due to left groin soreness.
With Morris sidelined, Delon Wright could slot back into the starting five. Wright went off for 24 points, seven boards and three dimes off the bench Friday against San Antonio, and he’s been productive as a starter when needed this season. Kendrick Nunn and Jordan Goodwin could pick up some extra minutes as well.

  • LAC Guard #0
Bradley Beal is out Friday against the Spurs due to left knee soreness.
Beal will miss a second straight game, which should free up more minutes for the likes of Jordan Goodwin, Corey Kispert and Deni Avdija, with Johnny Davis and Kendrick Nunn likely to see a little extra playing time as well.

  • LAC Guard #0
Bradley Beal is being listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets due to left knee soreness.
Beal hasn’t missed a game in over a month and is coming off a poor shooting performance Tuesday against the Magic. If Beal doesn’t play that could mean extra minutes for Delon Wright, Kendrick Nunn and Jordan Goodwin.

  • LAC Guard #0
Bradley Beal is out for Saturday’s matchup with the Nets due to left foot soreness.
After an extended absence, Beal has appeared in each of the Wizards’ last seven games, but he’ll get the night off on the second night of a back-to-back set. He’s listed as out due to a foot injury, but this is almost assuredly a rest day, so fantasy managers shouldn’t panic. Corey Kispert is a likely candidate to slide into the starting lineup in Beal’s absence, while guys like Kendrick Nunn and Deni Avdija should get a bump in usage as well.
