Harangody

Harangody will be available to play in Saturday’s game against the Wizards. He hasn’t appeared in a game for the Cavs since March 2 and is averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds this season.

Harangody had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday night, and he’s rewarded with a trip back to Canton for the D-League playoffs.

Jamison is expected to play on Sunday against the Magic, which should stop the Harangody train. But if he plays well again in that one, he might be worth a look for four games next week.

Harangody is out of options and will stick with the Cavs for the rest of the season.

Even though Anderson Varejao (wrist) has been sidelined, Harangody has appeared in just three of the last eight games.

Harangody will function as depth at the end of the bench and nothing more.

An expected move, Harangody will get consistent minutes he was unable to find in Cleveland.

He’s appeared in just five games this season and is not on the fantasy radar.

The team does not expect the injury to be serious, and that’s good news considering Casspi figures to be a major part of what the Cavs attempt to do on offense this season. Assuming he isn’t sidelined for more than a few days, Casspi retains his intriguing fantasy potential as Cleveland’s starting small forward.

Harangody would be a restricted free agent if the team extends the qualifying offer, but the Cavs may choose to simply let him walk and become an unrestricted free agent.
