Scotty Pippen Jr., Jordan Goodwin, GG Jackson, Brandon Clarke, and Trey Jemison will start Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
There’s only one change to the Grizzlies’ starting lineup, but it’s a big one. Clarke will start for the first time since returning from a ruptured Achilles tendon, replacing Maozinha Pereira (whose 10-day contract has expired). Clarke’s minutes may not increase much, but the starting role represents another positive step as he works his way back to full fitness.

Lamar Stevens (left groin soreness) is doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
Stevens sat out Saturday’s loss to the 76ers and appears unlikely to be available on Tuesday. Rookie Maozinha Pereira started against Philadelphia and, due to the team’s many injuries, is likely to figure prominently in the Grizzlies’ rotation moving forward.
  • MEM Small Forward #25
Maozinha Pereira shot 6-of-10 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Friday’s win over the Pistons, accounting for 17 points, nine rebounds, one block, and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.
Seven of the eight Grizzlies who saw action on Friday reached double figures, including reserves Pereira and Lamar Stevens. While Stevens’ line of 15 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and three steals was unsurprising, few expected this kind of performance from Pereira. The rookie wing from Brazil established new highs in minutes, points, rebounds, and 3-pointers. However, this performance doesn’t make him worth a roll of the dice for Saturday’s game against the 76ers. Stevens remains the safer choice in deep leagues.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #46
John Konchar (right plantar fasciitis) is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Pistons.
After sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Magic with a sore heel, Konchar appears on the injury report for Monday due to plantar fasciitis. The doubtful designation suggests it’s unlikely he will be cleared to play against the Pistons. Maozinha Pereira and Jordan Goodwin are available to absorb minutes off the bench, and they are worth streaming.
  • MEM Small Forward #24
Zavier Simpson has signed a 10-day contract with Memphis, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The former Michigan player will get a chance to make his return to the NBA after spending most of this season with Motor City, Detroit’s G-League affiliate. Memphis also signed Maozinha Pereira to a second 10-day, and while both players could end up seeing big minutes at the end of the season, they aren’t worth adding yet.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia (illness) has been added to the injury report as questionable to play against the Spurs on Friday.
LaRavia wasn’t on the initial injury report, but there is now a chance that he sits out Friday’s game. If that happens, GG Jackson and Santi Aldama should see a few extra minutes at the forward spots, with DeJon Jarreau and Maozinha Periera also seeing minutes off the bench. Only Jackson and Aldama will be worth a look in any format.
