Guard Mike Gansey signed a free-agent contract with the Heat.
Gansey, who averaged 14.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.75 steals in 68 games the last two seasons at West Virginia, will join the Heat’s Pro Summer League team in Orlando next week. He’ll struggle to make the regular-season roster, but you never know.
