The Lakers are finalizing a deal to hire Miles Simon to fill the coaching vacancy left by Theo Robertson.
He’s best known for being the Most Outstanding Player in the 1997 Final Four, but Simon did only play in five games for his NBA career. Coach Luke Walton also gets another Arizona Wildcat on his bench.
