There are some fans — people stuck in some variation of the silly “ringzzz/playoffs” argument — who have an issue with Tracy McGrady getting inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend. That despite a stretch where he was arguably the best player in the game — there were years before his knee injuries where “Kobe or McGrady” was a legitimate discussion.

One guy who doesn’t have a problem with it — Kevin Durant. A lock future Hall of Famer.

Just remember how easy McGrady made the game look on his way to being a seven-time All-NBA player and two-time scoring champion. He deserves to be in the Hall.
