Golden State Warriors teammates Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got in a bit of an argument on Saturday night. During the Warriors’ loss to the Sacramento Kings in OT, 109-106, the pair could be seen emphatically gesticulating during some kind of disagreement. It was enough to make both JaVale McGee and Shaun Livingston step between the pair to try to cool things off.
This comes a month after Green and Durant got into a similar situation during another OT loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

What’s happening here is not immediately clear. It seems like it might be related to a similar possession to the one that caused the issue during the game against the Grizzlies. Late in the third quarter, Durant had isolation against DeMarcus Cousins, then with the shot clock winding down tossed the ball to Green who had to force a 3-pointer.
Clearly the Warriors struggled with the Kings, and it’s odd to see the typically reserved Durant suddenly locked in impassioned debate with one of the most emotional leaders in the NBA.
It’s not like things aren’t rosy in Oakland -- the team has a record of 43-8, the best in the NBA. At the very least, perhaps it’s inspiring for Warriors fans to see their stars so fired up despite the circumstances?
