The Lakers’ Jordan Clarkson got loose on a fast break against the Jazz, and from his angle, he probably believed he’d have an uncontested opportunity for a highlight-reel slam.
It didn’t quite work out that way, but the defender coming into the picture at the last second made the play that much more special.
Dante Exum did his best to contest, and even hammered Clarkson across the face as the dunk was taking place. But Exum was just late enough, and Clarkson was just strong enough to convert it nonetheless.
