DeAndre Jordan’s much-anticipated appearance in Dallas began with plenty of boos before tonight’s Clippers-Mavericks game.
But, according to most accounts from those in attendance, the booing was hardly overwhelming. It’s probably a product of this game starting 30 minutes sooner than most Dallas home games due to national television, making it more difficult for fans to arrive on time after leaving work. Plus, I think the Mavericks erred by introducing Jordan first – not giving fans a full chance to realize it’s time to boo.
At least fans will have plenty more opportunities. They’re booing every time Jordan touches the ball, though he doesn’t handle it much.
