If pro-Charles Oakley chants broke out at a Rangers game at Madison Square Garden, what did you think was going to happen when the Knicks played?
Friday night a good Denver Nuggets team came to town, and Nikola Jokic was the best player on the floor. By a mile. Which wasn’t making Knicks fans feel any better about the direction of their team.
Of course, there were “we want Oakley” chants throughout the game, even if it seemed like game operations was trying to cover up the noise at times.

"We want Oakley! We want Oakley" chants, and now "Free Charles Oakley!" follows at MSG.

A brief but loud "Charles Oakley!" chant just now.

The good news, eventually the chants faded. The bad news...
Those Oakley chants have given way to boos. Nuggets still shooting about 60 percent, lead Knicks 98-86 with a minute left in the third.
