Victor Oladipo can sing. We’ve heard it before, in talent shows and other snippets.

Now, he has his own single, a remake of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song For You.”

And it’s impressive.

Oladipo talked about his singing with Complex magazine last year.

“Ain’t too many NBA players who are actually really good at singing,” he said at the time. “There’s a lot of rappers, but not too many singers. I think it could be something special, so maybe one day.”

This season Oladipo will be part of a fresh — and likely challenging — reboot in Indiana. He may feel more like singing the blues as the season wears on. But for how, he’s laying it down. The guy has a voice.
