Anthony Davis lost his shoe during play. Hey, it happens.
Davis couldn’t get it back on quickly enough then scored while wearing only one shoe. That was pretty cool.
Then – after Davis tossed the shoe to Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry – Clippers guard Patrick Beverley got a technical foul for taking it. What the heck? How did Beverley get the shoe? Did he snatch it from Gentry? Did Gentry toss it closer to midcourt for Davis to retrieve?
No matter where he got it, this is incredible dedication by Beverley to being a pest.
