Lance Thomas has played a limited role for the Hornets the past two seasons, coming in off the bench in just more than two thirds of the teams’ games, averaging just under 11 minutes when he did get in last season, bringing a couple points but not much else.

However, the Hornets apparently are going to keep him around.

Thomas has reached a two-year year deal to remain with the Hornets at the league minimum, the second of those years is not guaranteed, reports Jared Zwerling of ESPNNewYork.com.

Which means Thomas and his 2.5 points a game are back solving

New Orleans rolled the dice more than any team this summer and put together what could an interesting team this fall. With those roster changes, Thomas becomes an afterthought who will not see much court time.
