Update: Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders:

The Bucks want to buyout Larry Sanders.

It seems they will.

Marc Stein of ESPN:

Shams Charania of RealGM:

Sanders’ contract calls for him to make $11 million this season and each of the next three, though of some of this season’s salary was lost to suspension.

For the Bucks, this represents nice cap relief, and they could even create more short-term flexibility by stretching his payments.

As long as there are no snags and Sanders clears waivers by March 2, he could join a playoff roster this year. Of course, he’d have to want to play this season.
