The Nuggets got two first-round picks for Timofey Mozgov, which was mostly Denver being in the right place at the right time.
Not every team is as desperate as the Cavaliers, who have gone all-in on the present since signing LeBron James.
But the Nuggets will apparently put that to the test with Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler.
Marc Stein of ESPN:
Hearing Denver has been seeking a future first-rounder AND second-rounder for Arron Afflalo. And two first-rounders for Wilson Chandler ...

There’s nothing wrong with asking. Afflalo and Chandler are drawing plenty of interest.
But if the Nuggets don’t lower their asking price closer to today’s 3 p.m. trade deadline, they’ll probably scare off all suitors.
Denver has a little more leverage on Chandler, who is under contract next season. Afflalo has a $7.5 million player option, and he’ll surely opt out. The way things are going with the Nuggets, he’ll also probably leave.
If they want any return for Afflalo, the time is now – which probably means they probably must accept less.
