Just hours after being unceremoniously fired by the Bulls on Thursday, former head coach Tom Thibodeau released a statement thanking the fans and the organization:
There’s no doubt that Thibodeau will get another job, whether it be this summer or next. He’s been linked to the Pelicans and Magic jobs that are currently open, and if he decides to sit out a year, he’ll be a prime candidate for any number of jobs, including the Lakers, Timberwolves and Hornets.
