O.J. Mayo has agreed to a deal with a CBA team.
Mayo was dismissed from the NBA in 2016 after violating the NBA’s Anti-Doping Program, and he’s been playing overseas ever since. It seems unlikely the former No. 3 overall selection from the 2008 Draft will make it back to the league.

O.J. Mayo has signed a deal in China with Hunan Jinjian.
Mayo played in Taiwan last season and averaged 22.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Mayo has finished serving his two-year suspension and last October he said he hoped to return to the NBA, but the former No. 3 overall selection from the 2008 NBA draft wasn’t able to secure a contract.

O.J. Mayo has signed a contract with the Dacin Tigers in Taiwan.
Mayo has finished serving his two-year suspension and worked out for some NBA teams over the summer, but was not able to ink a deal to return to the NBA.

O.J. Mayo has reportedly received offers from overseas clubs, but remains hopeful that he’ll be able to snag an NBA contract.
Mayo has now served his two-year suspension and spent time in August and September working out with other NBA players. The former No. 3 overall selection from the 2008 NBA draft would reportedly be willing to go through the G-League to get back to the NBA, and that may be what he needs to do given his past issues.

O.J. Mayo, who scored just five points on Tuesday, hit 7-of-14 shots for 15 points, two assists, three steals and a 3-pointer in a win over the Hornets on Wednesday.
Keep riding Mayo, as Tuesday just appears to have been an off night.

O.J. Mayo scored 16 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 4-of-10 shots (including a three) with three rebounds and three assists.
Mayo has become a borderline player over the last two weeks, and the return of Zach Randolph isn’t going to help matters. Feel free to drop him for a hot free agent, despite this line that might suggest otherwise.

O.J. Mayo led the Grizzlies to a tough win in Denver on Sunday, scoring 22 points with three 3-pointers, five rebounds, eight assists and three steals.
Mayo made 9-of-14 FGs in 35 minutes, and the 22 points tied his season high. He’s suited to providing ‘instant offense’ as the Grizzlies’ sixth man, but it’s a role that gives him marginal fantasy worth.

Coach Lionel Hollins said O.J. Mayo’s hot shooting Sunday was the reason Tony Allen started the second half on the bench.
Hollins had a quick hook on Sunday as he wasn’t happy with the first unit’s energy to start the game. Therefore, Allen played just 17 minutes. We’d fully expect him to get his starting role back for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.

Rudy Gay has officially been diagnosed with a concussion.
Gay’s concussion is being called “mild” and he was able to finish out Sunday’s game. He’ll now have to pass the NBA’s concussion protocols and be symptom-free before being cleared to play. We can only consider Gay questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Lakers. Quincy Pondexter and O.J. Mayo are candidates for extra minutes if Gay sits.

O.J. Mayo hit just 3-of-11 shots for six points in 17 minutes of Tuesday’s loss to the Kings.
Mayo is still averaging 12 points, four boards, three assists, 1.6 steals and a 3-pointer per game over his last five, and looks like a nice player to own in the fantasy playoffs, as the Grizzlies play five times in back-to-back scoring periods starting in Week 15. Tony Allen got hot tonight, which hurt Mayo in this one.
