Rashad Vaughn and Donte Ingram were waived by the Mavs on Thursday.
Mavs writer Mark Followill suggests both guys are heading to the G League to play for the Mavs’ affiliate. We’re unlikely to hear about them again in fantasy circles.

The Mavs have signed Rashad Vaughn and Donte Ingram.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but this is likely just a camp invite. Expect the pair to be waived prior to the start of the season.
  • Malcolm Brogdon grabbed six rebounds and handed out five assists on Wednesday, but he shot just 2-of-15 from the field (0-of-4 from deep) for five points in 33 minutes.
Brogdon once again played point guard tonight as the Bucks continue to experiment with his skill-set. He’s outplaying Rashad Vaughn (10 points, five boards) and has been versatile in Summer League with averages of 10.8 points, 0.5 triples, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists. The biggest cause for concern is that his flat-arc shot has come up short a lot in Vegas, but he’s a talented enough shooter to adjust to the NBA 3-point line.

Rashad Vaughn put on a show vs. the D-League Select team on Sunday, scoring a game-high 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting with three 3-pointers, six rebounds and four assists.
Vaughn struggled in his first Vegas game, shooting just 4-of-16 from the field, so it was nice to see him bounce back with a stellar all-around effort. The Bucks don’t have much depth at SG this season, opening the door for Vaughn to play a significant role, but he shot 30.5 percent as a rookie and is just a guy to monitor in standard leagues.
  • Shooting Guard #20
Rashad Vaughn started the second half against the Hornets on Wednesday.
He started for Mirza Teletovic because the first half defense was a problem for the Bucks. Fantasy owners can keep Vaughn on the wire in most leagues.
  • Shooting Guard #20
Rashad Vaughn (ankle) is available to play on Wednesday against the Hornets.
He’s been passed on the depth chart due to some sub-par play. Vaughn could get action tonight, but that might change once Tony Snell (ankle) is good to go.

Rashad Vaughn (ankle) started the second half on Wednesday but finished Milwaukee’s home loss with only two points on 1-of-3 shooting in eight minutes.
Jason Kidd initially started Mirza Teletovic because he “just felt a little bit more comfortable going with a vet in the matchups,” but he changed his mind at halftime. Vaughn shot just 30.5 percent last season and he was no better during the preseason, so most owners should take a wait-and-see approach here.

Coach Jason Kidd said projected starting shooting guard Rashad Vaughn has shown improvement in the last 4-5 weeks.
Kidd added he thinks the game is slowing down for Vaughn and the second-year guard has increased confidence. Vaughn had a disastrous post-break run last year with an ugly 35.3 true shooting percentage. He’s going to have to play well or else the Bucks might give Malcolm Brogdon a chance over him.

Rashad Vaughn (ankle) did not play on Wednesday.
Vaughn also missed Saturday’s game but he thinks he’ll be ready for the season opener. His stock has tanked due to a lousy preseason, the presence of Malcolm Brogdon, and the Bucks’ acquisition of Tony Snell. Most fantasy owners can ignore him.

The Bucks have picked up their option on Rashad Vaughn.
He’s had a rough start to his career in Milwaukee, but finally showed something on Saturday with a career-high 22 points with two rebounds, one steal, one block and six treys. “My teammates were giving me a lot of confidence,” Vaughn said. “I was feeling it tonight. There were a couple times I didn’t shoot and they got on me.” Coach Jason Kidd called him a “threat,” an indication that he will keep playing the young SG if he stays hot. Fantasy owners will want to see another good performance before considering an add.
