    Terrell Brandon officially announced his retirement from basketball today.
    Brandon had missed most of the last three seasons with knee troubles. He finishes his career averaging 13.8 points and 6.1 assists in 724 games with Cleveland, Milwaukee and Minnesota.

    Minnesota VP Kevin McHale said Terrell Brandon, who hasn’t played this season because of knee problems, wants to give his career one more try and is hopeful of playing this year.
    Earlier this season, Brandon was reported to be leaning towards retirement. ''He said he’s feeling better than he has at any point since the surgery,’' McHale said. ''But it’s a matter of, can he get to the next level? Right now, he’s able to jog and do a lot of stuff like that. There’s a huge difference between that and playing NBA basketball.’'
