The LSU product is likely just a training camp body.

No fantasy impact to speak of with this news, as Quarterman hasn’t played more than two minutes in any game in over a month.

He’s had some moments in garbage time with one of the best put-back dunks on the year, but Quarterman is not expected to get minutes unless coach Terry Stotts gets really, really wild.

Quarterman will reportedly rejoin the team on Feb. 11, yet he isn’t part of the Blazers’ rotation. He recently dealt with an ankle injury, but we’re taking him off the injury report.

The undrafted rookie has suited up for a total of 12 games this season and has never exceeded the eight-minutes mark, so his playing status is irrelevant in fantasy hoops.

Quarterman finished the regular season on Apr. 12 with 10 points, four boards, three assists and some defensive stats in 22 minutes. He also committed seven turnovers that night, however, and won’t be in the regular rotation unless multiple injuries strike Portland’s backcourt.

With several players resting, he closed out on Wednesday and handled the ball a lot, so maybe he was hurt late in the game. Quarterman won’t be in the rotation.

Houston GM Daryl Morey is in the process of collecting non-guaranteed contracts. He has no fantasy value.

Houston has a team option for the 2018-19 season. No fantasy impact to note, as Quarterman is not expected to see rotation minutes over the final two weeks of the season.

The move clears a roster spot for guard Aaron Jackson.
