He’s a wing on a team looking for as much help at those spots as possible, so at least has a chance for minutes. Mitchell scored 19.4 points per game with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants this season, but he’ll have to play well to earn a second 10-day deal in the big leagues.

The 25-year-old made his NBA debut last season with the Bucks while he was on a 10-day deal. Mitchell may have had an opportunity to get on a training camp roster, but he’ll play it safe and just go overseas.

The Phoenix Suns have traded forward Anthony Tolliver to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Tony Mitchell.

Tolliver wasn’t in the rotation in Phoenix and we don’t see him playing a lot for the rebuilding Pistons, so this news shouldn’t matter in most leagues. Tony Mitchell, on the other hand, has some potential but will likely be waived by the Suns. Stay tuned.
